Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey 2017: Adolescent Reproductive Health

The 2017 IDHS provides an overall overview on current conditions related to population, family planning, reproductive health, and other health issues. One of the important issues collected in the 2017 IDHS is the information about Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH). The ARH information includes data of knowledge, attitudes, and adolescent practices toward human reproduction system, the use of cigarette and drugs, alcohol consumption, sexual intercourse, HIV AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.
 

Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey 2017

The 2017 IDHS provides a comprehensive picture of population, family planning, reproductive health, and maternal and child health conditions in Indonesia. The primary objective is to provide current estimates of basic indicators in demography and health. The target population is women age 15-49, currently married men age 15-54, and never-married women and men age 15-24. The survey covered all 34 provinces in Indonesia.

Youth Health in Nepal: Levels, Trends, and Determinants

Given the importance of health policy and strategies for youth, this further analysis of the 2016 Nepal Demographic and Health Survey examines the levels, trends, and determinants of the health of youth in Nepal. The analysis includes health indicators in four areas: marriage and sexual behavior, fertility and family planning, maternal health care, and other health outcomes such as domestic violence, nutritional status, and hypertension. The results show inconsistent progress in improving the health of young women and men in Nepal.

Bangladesh Health Facility Survey 2017

The 2017 Bangladesh Health Facility Survey (BHFS) is the fourth nationally representative health facility survey in Bangladesh and follows earlier surveys in 2009, 2011, and 2014. The focus is on formal health sector facilities: public, private (at least 20 beds), and nongovernmental.

Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey 2017-18

The overall objective of the 2017-18 PDHS was to collect high-quality data on fertility levels and preferences, contraceptive use, maternal and child health, infant mortality levels, immunisation, nutritional status of mothers and children, disability, migration, women’s empowerment, domestic violence, awareness and behaviour regarding HIV/AIDS, and other health-related issues.

Maldives Demographic and Health Survey 2016-17

The 2016-17 MDHS was the second DHS survey to be conducted in the Maldives in collaboration with the worldwide Demographic and Health Surveys Program. Fieldwork for the survey was carried out from 17 March 2016 to 27 November 2017 covering a national sample of over 6,000 households.
