The first global assessment on the status and capacity of health information systems in 133 countries, covering 87% of the global population. It identifies gaps and provides guidance for investment in areas that can have the greatest impact on the quality, availability, analysis, accessibility and use of health data.

The checklist and reference list is meant to complement and build on the most recent normative guidelines produced by UNAIDS Cosponsors and the Secretariat and not to replace them. The checklist has built-in hyperlinks for such guidelines for easy reference. The checklist and reference list has two parts: high-level cross-cutting content (Part A) and specific programme content (Part B).

This technical resource builds on the recommendations and guidance in the Handbook and provides specific guidance to ensure the concerns and interests of women migrant workers are incorporated into National Action Plans on Ending Violence Against Women. It is noted that all of the recommendations in the Handbook for National Action Plans on Violence Against Women apply; this document serves only to focus on women migrant workers’ rights and needs. As such, in each section, considerations for addressing women migrant workers’ needs in national action planning are described. The recommendations in each section are also aligned with the Essential Services Package for Women and Girls Subject to Violence and the 16 Essentials for Quality Multisectoral Service Provision to Women Migrant Workers Subject to Violence.

The AIDS Medium Term Plan IV of the Philippines was conceptualized and prepared through a robust and wide consultative process which was inclusive of civil society, different agencies of the government, multi lateral and bilateral agencies as well as corporates. The period of this plan is from 2005 to 2010.

The Guidelines on promotive and preventive mental health interventions for adolescents - Helping Adolescents thrive (HAT), provide evidence-informed recommendations on psychosocial interventions to promote mental health, prevent mental disorders, and reduce self-harm and other risk behaviours among adolescents. The HAT Guidelines aims to inform policy development, service planning and the strengthening of health and education systems, and facilitate mainstreaming of adolescent mental health promotion and prevention strategies across sectors and delivery platforms.

The National Guidelines for HIV Care and Treatment in PNG are one of the many tools that have been developed to provide healthcare workers with guidance on various aspects of care and treatment. In this, the fifth edition of the Guidelines, there is much wider coverage of such areas as; Adult and Pediatric HIV management including adherence issues; Prevention of Parent-to-Child Transmission (PPTCT); Prophylaxis and Treatment of opportunistic infections (OIs); and management of co-morbidities.
