In 2002 the Indonesian Ministry of Health, with ASA/FHI/USAID conducted a National Estimates of Adult HIV Infection. Those estimates were a great step to estimate the magnitude of burden diseases in the future.

The 2007 Indonesia Young Adult Reproductive Health Survey (IYARHS) is the second national survey on Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) in Indonesia. The survey is a sub-sample of the 2007 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS).

This Strategy and Action Plan (2010-2014) was developed as a reference for all partners in the response to HIV and AIDS -- government, non-government, as well as international partners.

The publication of the ARH key indicators of the 2017 Indonesia Demographic Health Survey (IDHS) provides useful information for designing policies and programs to address the ARH issues in Indonesia.

The 2011 Integrated Biological and Behavioural Surveillance (IBBS) was conducted to obtain a picture of the magnitude of the problems, risk factors, knowledge and program scope, with the aim of understanding the dynamics of the HIV epidemic in Indonesia.

This report showcases the state of inequality in Indonesia, drawing from the latest available data across 11 health topics (53 health indicators), and eight dimensions of inequality.

This analysis was done to estimate the required investments in the future to respond to HIV and AIDS in a cost-effective and optimal manner.
