Fiji 2021 Survey Finding Report

The Fiji Bureau of Statistics officially launched the results of Fiji’s first ever Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2021 to support the Government in providing reliable data to measure progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. Fiji is the fifth country in the Pacific region to conduct a MICS survey. The data generated through the Fiji MICS will be used by the government to strengthen its response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
 

Fiji Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2021 Preliminary Results

The Fiji MICS has collected data on health, nutrition, child protection, education, learning skills of children, early childhood development, water, sanitation and hygiene among other topics. The findings provide data on 165 indicators, including 28 Sustainable Development Goal and 23 Pacific Sustainable Development indicators.

Fiji 2021 MICS Snapshot of Key Findings HIV and Sexual Health Behaviour

The snapshot of key findings on HIV and sexual health behaviour reveal that in many setting, sexual behaviour can be considered a risk factor for health and social issues. These include reproductive health, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, and gender equality and empowerment.

Survey Measuring Viet Nam Sustainable Development Goal Indicators on Children and Women 2020-2021, Survey Findings Report

This report is based on the Survey measuring Viet Nam Sustainable Development Goal indicators on Children and Women (SDGCW) 2020-2021, the localised version of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS). The fieldwork was conducted from November 2020 to February 2021 by the General Statistics Office, with technical and financial assistance from UNICEF and UNFPA. The survey provides statistically sound and internationally comparable data essential for developing evidence-based policies and programmes, and for monitoring progress toward national goals and global commitments.

Tonga MICS 2019 Snapshot of Key Findings

MICS surveys measure key indicators that allow countries to generate data for use in policies, programmes, and national development plans, and to monitor progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other internationally agreed upon commitments. The objective of this snapshot of key findings is to facilitate the dissemination and use of results from the Tonga MICS, 2019. Thailand Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey 2019 Summary of Key Indicators

The Global Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) Programme was developed by UNICEF as an international multi-purpose household survey programme to support countries in collecting internationally comparable data on a wide range of indicators on the situation of children and women. The National Statistical Office of Thailand (NSO) conducted its first MICS, which was part of MICS3 programme, in 2005-06. The current MICS is the fourth round under MICS6 programme. The survey provides one of the most important sources of alternative information to help monitor the progress of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Timor-Leste: Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS – 2002)

UNICEF developed the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) to monitor goals established at the World Summit for Children (WSC) held in New York in 1990. But it is also consistent with many monitoring needs of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG), as well as those of the more recent World Fit for Children (WFFC) that many countries are now using for human development planning into the 21st Century.
