After the first five years of the implementation of the ASEAN Regional Plan of Action on the Elimination of Violence against Women, this mid-term review was conducted to take stock of the progress of the implementation of the plan so far, highlighting advances among ASEAN Member States to strengthen the prevention of and response to violence against women in the region. The review highlights how all the priority areas are interlinked to each other.

The ASEAN Guidelines for A Non-Violent Approach to Nurture, Care and Development of Children, in All Settings

The Regional Plan of Action (RPA) on Elimination of Violence against Children (EVAC) and the ASEAN Guidelines for a Non-violent Approach to Nurture, Care and Development of Children in All Settings (hence onwards shall be known as the ASEAN Guidelines, or Guidelines) are both pertaining to the elimination of violence against children. This Guidelines complements the ASEAN RPA on EVAC which serves as a blueprint or roadmap for AMS. The RPA is at the “macro” level, while the Guidelines is at the “micro” level i.e. the seven settings.

ASEAN Good Practices and New Initiatives in HIV and AIDS

ATFOA proposed and got approval for a number of key initiatives that support the Declaration strategies, including the documentation of good practices, innovations, and other cross-cutting themes in HIV and AIDS that became the basis of this publication.
